Minister of Energy and Water, Raymond Ghajar, announced on Sunday that the deadline for submitting applications for partaking in the second licensing course for granting petroleum rights in the Lebanese marine waters has been temporarily postponed, due to the Corona pandemic and its repercussions.

The Minister indicated that the date will be reset based on the recommendation of the Petroleum Sector Management Authority, with the aim of completing this round before the end of the year 2021.
