PGS and TGS announce the delivery of AVO-compliant, full-integrity PSTM data for Jeanne d’Arc and fast-track PSTM from Cape Anguille, two of this year's acquisition programs in Newfoundland and Labrador. Final depth-imaging from Lewis Hills will be available in Q2 2022.

Eastern Newfoundland | 10 000 sq. km | Fast-track available now

The first data is ready for viewing from our Cape Anguille 3D GeoStreamer survey, targeting Tertiary and Cretaceous leads on open acreage. This AVO-compliant dataset expands our 3D data coverage in the highly prospective Orphan basin, an area that will be included in the Eastern Newfoundland Call for Bids, which closes in November 2022.

Jeanne d’Arc Basin | 5 500 sq. km | Final imaging available now

Jeanne d’Arc HD3D is a high-fidelity 3D Geostreamer dataset that covers exploration and significant discovery licenses in the producing Jeanne d’Arc basin. Advanced imaging products, now available, offer operators new insights to inform decisions on their exploration commitments in the area.

"The offshore Newfoundland and Labrador area has enormous potential for new exploration and these modern GeoStreamer datasets, acquired jointly with our partner, TGS, are key for enhancing understanding and the probability of success," says Neil Paddy, Vice President, North America at PGS

Flemish Pass & Orphan Basin | Lewis Hills | Available Q2 2022

We are merging data from our Lewis Hills phase 1 and 2 acquisitions and processing is ongoing. An advanced final depth-imaging product will be available in Q2 2022.
