His Excellency, the Lebanese Republic’s Minister for Energy and Water, was attending the event in London to support the promotion of his country’s first licensing round and to meet with senior figures from several interested oil and gas companies.
In addition, the minister attended various presentations including one by Wissam Chbat, Chairman of the Lebanese Petroleum Administration, giving details of the re-opened licensing round, available blocks and attractive images of the area’s exciting geology.
Over more than 10 years, PGS has build considerable experience in the area and is supporting the licensing round as an official provider of 2D and 3D seismic data. The PGS MultiClient data library includes 10 000 sq. km. of 3D, 8 700km of GeoStreamer 2D and 500 km of legacy seismic data. It is ideal for companies who are looking for investment opportunities in this prospective frontier area.
PGS and the Lebanese Petroleum Administration will be available at Stand 27 throughout the event which closes on Thursday afternoon.
