PGS 3D seismic datasets covering 1 600 sq. km over Blocks CI-104, 115 and 116 (now redefined and renamed as CI-705 and CI-706) offshore Côte d'Ivoire have been reprocessed using an up-to-date processing and imaging sequence.
The broadband reprocessing sequence that was applied to the data included deghosting and designature, full 3D demultiple, enhanced velocity model building and the generation of pre-stack time migrated images. The reprocessing has increased the low frequency content and modern demultiple techniques have significantly improved the signal to noise.
As shown below, the reprocessed and rejuvenated data has been seamlessly merged with modern GeoStreamer data acquired in 2013 and is compared with the original legacy data.
